Great post. Atomizing culture into untouchable, unshareable identity baskets (or prisons) is divisive and just plain stupid. Suppressing the beauty of cross-cultural fusion music and other artistic expression is retrograde, setting up competition instead of creative collaboration.

I don't understand how Jews (minority) became 'oppressors'. Even among conservatives, the Jew hatred/ distain I've seen is baffling to me.
